Vet manager Alex returns to management
Posted by: Newswire, 2024-06-15, 271 ViewsThe former manager of San Juan in AN and Shanghai in RoW, Alex Spare, has just returned back to management. The veteran manager took sick leave after the daily stresses of management in some of the region's toughest divisions, but he's now back and ready to build another legacy.
The Sparemeister has been hired by Berlin, languishing in the bottom of EN D2. The squad isn't great, but it has two standout talents --- an 8m star striker and a 7m vet mid. The two are likely the reason why Alex opted to take the club. Berlin has one D1 trophy --- all the way back in S24 when the club was under the guidance of Argentinian manager Caruso. The former manager left in scandalous circumstances, accused of insider trading and corrupt practices.
The returning manager also took a second club in ES, Lisbon, a club with only one trophy to its name, a single D3 crown.
Under Spare's guidance, San Juan won D1 multiple times as well as the Wes Cup trophy in S10. The club has struggled after Spare's departure, now bottom of D3.
